Hodge Podge

Actually had two photos to share and while I know WHEN they were taken, I thought it was better if there was a bit of an explanation to the two of them. The explanations are a little long but are necessary, especially with DHR sniffing around.

A couple of weeks ago Xander's daycare had a "slumber party". Everyone was encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas in to school and bring their blankets and pillows and "sleep aids". Well Xander put on his Thomas the Tank Engine pajamas that MaMaw made him, grabbed his blanket that his Grammy gave him for Christmas and was ready to go except for a pillow. Problem is Xander doesn't really HAVE or USE a pillow of his own. So here we are trying to find a pillow when Xander pulls out one of our travel pillows and wants to take IT.

Everything went well that day, the kids had a blast, but Xander left his blanket and pillow with his sleeping mat so it didn't come home. He ended up sleeping with them all week. When we finally got them home he carried them around for a few days. So Saturday at naptime Paula tells him it is time to go to bed. He asks if he can sleep on a pallet and I say O.K. figuring he wants me to make him one up in his room. Nope. He grabbed a paper box top and....
The second picture is a little easier to explain, we just couldn't believe it when it happened. You know how a lot of little kids are afraid of the Easter Bunny, or Santa Claus, or Aunt Mildred? Well not Xander. At the Easter egg hunt we went to Saturday they had an Easter bunny. We asked Xander if he wanted to say hi, and this is his response.
