Xander has learned that riding the white line is not the best thing to do. He was driving in town, was too close and took the turn to sharp and hit the curb. Then after the turn there was a entrance and the entrance was raised just a bit higher than the road and hit it just right that the tire blew.
I was very proud of him. He did not freak out, jerk the wheel or hit anything. He pulled into a cul-de-sac and he learned how to change a tire.
He was upset that he blew the tire more than anything else. We had to tell him that it was better to do it now and learn from his mistake, than to be driving on a rainy day/night, a great distance from home, or in a bad area.
